Items to Ask About Carefully
Some items are accepted only when the exact item and condition are understood. Appliances, dense renovation materials, heavy bedload material, electronics, tires, sofa beds, and special recycling items should be named in the quote request instead of hidden inside "miscellaneous junk."
Restricted Items
General junk removal is not a hazardous-waste service. The Junk Boys restrictions include items containing oil, fuel, or gas; medical, biological, or fecal waste; batteries; cars or trucks; oil furnaces; paint or solvent containers listed in the restrictions; kitty litter; and propane tanks. If a pile contains an unknown container, ask before booking.
How to Ask for a Clear Answer
- Send a photo of the full pile.
- Name the unusual items separately.
- State the city and whether the junk is indoors, curb-ready, in a condo, or in a multi-level area.
- Describe dense material and renovation debris accurately.
- Ask about any item you are not sure about before the appointment.
